Charities We Support
The proceeds of our work currently support two Hong-Kong based charities working with orphaned and abandoned children in China: Christian Action and The Gap Foundation.
Christian Action
Christian Action is a Hong Kong-based charity that manages a home for and supports more than 100 orphaned and abandoned children in Qinghai Province, in China’s northwest. Most of the children in Christian Action’s care are girls and/or disabled. Nearly half of the children are in foster care programmes in the local community or in a small group home environment. Since 2002, 70 children from Christian Action's home have been adopted internationally.

The Gap Foundation
The Gap Foundation is a Hong Kong-based charity working in China's Liaoning Province, along the border with North Korea. It manages a home for 10 orphaned and abandoned children. The majority of the children in its care are boys who have varying degrees of disability. 10 more children will be joining the children’s home in the next year.

To Get Involved
In addition to financial support, Christian Action and The Gap Foundation are always looking for volunteers from different professions (including gap year students) to offer their time and services to improve the lives of the children in their care.
To find out how you can get involved, contact Christian Action’s Executive Director, Mrs. Cheung-Ang, at ca@christian-action.org.hk or The Gap Foundation’s Founding Director, Ms. Kay Lee, at kayleegap@163.com.
